Relationship Counselling in Cairns
Reconnect. Repair. Strengthen your relationship with professional support.
A safe, supportive space for couples
Every relationship has moments of distance, tension, or silence. Sometimes those patterns become stuck — the same argument repeats, or one person withdraws while the other pursues.
At Cairns Wellbeing & Training, we help couples slow things down, understand what’s happening underneath conflict, and rebuild trust and emotional safety.
Our work draws on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you both communicate openly, manage conflict kindly, and rediscover what first brought you together.

What to expect in your first session
We begin by exploring what’s been happening, what each partner needs, and what you’d like to change.
You’ll leave with a shared understanding of your goals and a plan for the next few sessions.
Session length: 60–120 minutes
Cost: $80-$120 per couple
Availability: After-hours and weekend appointments available (online or in-person in Cairns).
For when one partner isn’t ready
Sometimes one partner is unsure about counselling. We can begin with an individual session to explore your concerns, clarify boundaries, and prepare for future joint sessions.
